I am a scientist. I notice things. Then I think about what those observations mean in the bigger picture. Sometimes I test those hypotheses. Mostly I just love to learn new things and share what I have learned or share my thoughts on what I have learned.
I recognize that those thoughts and my understanding of the world are influenced and guided by my previous experiences and my current situation. My Perspective.
My perspective includes being born and raised as a Bahamian male in the Bahamas. I watched David Suzuki, Heard David Attenborough’s voice and watched the Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin growing up. Add Catholic School, Anglican Church, working class family and putting myself through college and university mostly via scholarships and part-time jobs. I’ve seen hunger, racism, poverty, parenthood.
In the end, we are all human, humans are animals and there is SO MUCH TO LEARN! and Learning should be fun.
Hopefully you will enjoy this blog as much as I enjoy writing it. Hopefully I will enjoy writing it enough to keep it going for a long, long time.
Below are some videos of my presentations and articles regarding my work.
Here are articles I have been interviewed for or letters to papers that I have written.
