One of my key interests is taxonomy. Knowing the names and relationships between species. as such, I have been compiling a listing of species from the Bahamas into a database housed in the Science and Perspective G-drive. Ultimately, I would like to connect this to other geospatial data for environmental protection, impacts and restoration.
Please feel free to check out the database. Send me comments if you would like. Follow the links to the Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve Pages for each plant. I hope to add Cornell Lab of Ornithology links for birds and Caribherp links for reptiles and amphibians… eventually. What is the go to for insects?
I hope you enjoy it and find it useful.
I put the link all the way down here to encourage you to read the whole thing :P. Science and Perspective Bahamian Species Database

Hello Dr. Davis,
I would like to get with you soon to start our path for the development of Grand Bahama Ecology Tours, Ltd.
With all the new projects coming forward our timing should start soon to create a sound path to expanding the model created under West End Ecology Tours.
This is a golden opportunity to advance the ecology wonders on the island with sustainable tours to support the growth of the island tourism sector.
I love your website and would love to be a contributor is some small way to your success.
I look forward to taking your family out to Sandy Cay to meet my Amazing Stingrays.
I look forward to your call.
Kind regards,
Keith
