I like taking photos, but I am not big on editing. I hope you enjoy these images I have taken over the years.

Yellow-crowned Night Heron fledgling on Blue Lagoon Island May 15 2019 (2)
This Yellow-crowned Night Heron chick had just recently fledged from one of the multi-year nests on Blue Lagoon Island, the Salt Cay IBA. I was so lucky to capture this photo.
Ant in the Formica genus
This ant in the genus Formica was foraging on a bromeliad on the Maillis property
Killdeer (Charadrius vociferus) at Shake the Tree Farm
This is a Killdeer (Charadrius vociferus). They are super noisy and especially when they are pretending to be injured so that you follow them away from their babies.

A laughing gull (Leucophaeus atricilla)…not laughing at all. This image was taken on Saunders’ Beach, New Providence in the Bahamas shortly after the 66 Casuarina trees were cut down. I really like the elegance in these common birds.
